Camden Plus offers an Instant Access Account, which you can open if you need an account to receive your salary or benefits into.
Cash withdrawals can be made over the counter at the Royal College Street branch, with a limit of £500 per day. Alternatively, we can make electronic transfers on your behalf, for things such as your rent payments.
We are currently looking into providing a debit card facility that will enable members to access their money through ATM machines and to pay for goods over the counter or online.
Local Housing Allowance
If you need an account to receive your Local Housing Allowance into, Camden Plus can help with this too. You can arrange for your LHA to be paid to your account with the Credit Union and then make withdrawals either by electronic transfer directly to your landlord, or by cheque encashment at the local Post Office.
Please note that it is not possible to make cash withdrawals in respect of Local Housing Allowance. |
