Volunteers

Camden Plus is reliant for its success on the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. Although we employ professional staff to co-ordinate the day to day operations of the Credit Union, it is volunteers who fulfil a range of important tasks across the organisation.

These tasks include working as tellers in the branch to serving on the Board of Directors or one of its sub-committees.

Current Vacancies

We are currently recruiting volunteer tellers to join the team working in the Royal College Street branch, (see attached task description below).

We are also interested in hearing from you if you think you have the skills to be a Loan Officer for the Credit Union. Full details are available below.

So, if you have experience of working in a customer-facing environment and are willing to learn new skills, then we would love to hear from you! We can discuss what skills and abilities you can offer, and where we can make best use of your valuable time.

Full training and ongoing support is provided to all volunteers and any reasonable expenses incurred in the course of your duties are reimbursed on proof of payment. From time to time we also arrange social events, where you can relax and meet your fellow volunteers!
